Was working on 2nd MA & finishing Ph.D but put on hold right now….

Ideally I would love someone whose sense of humor has led them to see the irony & humor in the life around us but has chosen to laugh at it instead of becoming angry. So much trauma in the world now so we need to enjoy our lives to the fullest...and not be too upset...

I enjoy learning new things, snow and jet skiing, outdoors - especially the beach/mountains at night & in the mornings, pickleball, tennis, ping pong - & all kinds of games! I have recently learned to play Asian Mahjong, Canasta, Mexican Train, Push, and Hand & Foot - wowie!
Karaoke, oldies, new age, rock & roll, & jazz definitely make me smile! I play a bit of piano, flute, bassoon, guitar, & in the past enjoyed going to "drum circles"! I love all types of music, especially oldies, pop, country, really most everything from classical to current except for hard rock or rap.
I love all of Mike Nichols movies, The Graduate, Working Girl, 9 to 5, Silkwood... also When Harry Met Sally, Moonstruck, Sleepless In Seattle, and Schindler's List. Books I like include The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, Tuesdays with Morrie, The Other Side of Midnight, and Lucky...Reading biographies on interesting people, good novels, philosophy I also like! (I must confess I have some guilty pleasure in watching some of the reality TV shows too...)
