I Would Describe Myself As

I have been very lucky. I loved two men, but they both died. I have children and grandchildren and friends and interests and activities. But I miss the intimacy and private laughter of a loving partner. I am willing to take a chance with someone who feels the same and is equally optimistic that age is not a barrier but a resource in a wholehearted relationship. Anything else I could add here would not replace attraction and “chemistry.” I could go to the opera three nights a week and you could watch the Knicks on TV four nights a week. The difference in preference would not matter if I grooved on your smile and you adored my sense of humor. So we need to be bold and take our chances.
