I was fortunate to retire this year at 51 with my dog Coty so I moved to paradise. I worked hard in the business world and now I get to do what I want to. I don't have an alarm clock so I wake up to the sunrise over the pool and the lake. With that kind of alarm clock how bad can your day be?? Be clear that retired does not mean sitting around eating bon-bons. In my spare time I do a lot of volunteer work and am active in my Homeowners Association. To keep my brain working I might be doing some bookkeeping, puzzles, Sudoku and word games.
I was raised in Philadelphia and worked my entire career in DC. I love the city life but I wanted to try a slower, easier pace.
My friends call me a catch. Don?t worry my ego isn?t bigger than my hairstyle! I am physically fit, psychologically and emotional stable and independent financially. All this comes without baggage! Now with that said, let me tell you a little about me. I would describe myself as a happy person. You can see my happiness in my eyes and in my smile. No matter where I am people will stop me for directions ? I am known as the walking kiosk because I always have a smile on my face. I know you are saying okay, but what does she look like? Let me describe myself as a Renaissance woman. I have bright eyes, curves, short blond (subject to change) hair, clean nails and good skin! I would say I am confident, true to myself and I have a good soul.
I love football, baseball and college basketball. You might see me on a golf course, but don?t expect too much. My best driving is in the cart! I played varsity tennis in high school, but that was too long ago to count. I grew up with horses so I am always ready to go horseback riding. I also love the water ? to be honest the water is where I find my internal peace.
Being part Italian passion comes naturally to me. I love extremes as well ? take me to a black tie event or a neighbor?s barbeque and I am comfortable. I can be full of surprises. I would describe myself as strong, but without an attitude. I am very family and friend oriented.
Honesty means a lot to me. Tell me a secret and I will go to my grave with it. Ask my opinion and I will give it. Ask me a question and you will get a straight answer. I would ask my partner to be the same way.
When I am in a relationship I am committed to it ? both as a partner for life and a partner for the soul. I will be your biggest fan and best cheerleader. I don?t want to compromise myself in a relationship and I would not ask my partner to do it either. Challenge me and I will challenge you. Let?s talk politics, nonsense, theory or whatever. I can hold up my end of the conversation and can easily grasp new concepts.
Make me laugh and smile and I am putty in your arms. I don't take life too serious, hell I am just glad to be here enjoying it. I have observed over the years that people with a great smile, that love to laugh and be themselves can also be intelligent and serious. I like to think outside the box.
