I'm looking for a kind, healthy man for a mutually-supportive LTR.
I am petite, shapely and physically fit. Friends describe me as open, warm, playful and honest. I recently retired from a long career teaching music in the public schools and I am now transitioning into a more relaxed and creative way of living. Personal growth, insight, and a healthy lifestyle are important to me. I try to practice compassionate communication with others and I meditate regularly. I'm proud of my hard-earned maturity and I feel that life is too short for drama, except in movies or theater.
I'd like to find someone to share my life. I'm not a control freak and I'm ready to grow to accept you with your quirks and vulnerabilities if you'll accept mine. I love cuddling, affection and playful banter. I'm interested in the welfare of the world at large, my community, and my friends and family. I'm progessive politically and, perhaps, too idealistic. I'm affiliated with both a Jewish Renewal synaogue and a Buddhist community but I wouldn't expect you to join either one.
I'm blessed with many wonderful friends. For pleasure, I like to hang out with them, go to movies or shop, walk outside or work out at the gym, play piano, dance or sing. Similarly, traveling to places near and far, especially to sunny beaches, really uplifts me.
A final note: Please live within an hour of the Oakland-Berkeley border and be financially responsible. Children or grandchildren are a plus. By the way, my photos were taken within the last 3 years.
